Home Learning goes out every Friday. The learning is based around maths skills. Each child shall bring home a sheet with that weeks maths focus on it. Their are examples of how to bring this type of maths into your every day lives at home.
Once the child has practised his/her maths at least 3 times each week their is a colouring bird sheet for them to colour in 3 birds to show they have completed their home learning. This will be checked by Miss Dennis or Mrs Abdullah each Friday to check the maths is being completed.
The children can also practise their maths on the computer by using the links below. On the top marks website the children particularly enjoy playing a game called 'hit the button' which involves making number bonds to 10!
It would also be fantastic if your child could read at least 3 times per week with the banded book they bring home. Reading really helps the children's progression in comprehension, spelling and writing skills in the classroom!
